I show this movie to my students every year. I always learn more about what we do and what we shouldn't do in journalism with each viewing.
I think one of the lessons that impresses most concerns the impact that journalists have on the public. Our stories can make people and break people. It is something that we should keep in mind as we go about our day-to-day reporting.

I never thought about how much harm a reporter and/or journalist can cause on a person. When I saw this movie it hit home that this actually happens in real life and reporters are responsible for more than just a well written story.
